About Us

Steve Rubin and Arnold Gordon, the owners of GroupCAM, have been actively engaged in the local shopping center industry for approximately 30 years, providing property services and asset management for a wide variety of shopping center owners and property management firms in the metropolitan Washington D.C area.

Steve Rubin is also President and owner of Relm, Inc. founded in 1982, which is an established retail leasing and management company servicing in excess of one million square feet of shopping center space. Prior to founding Relm, Inc. Mr. Rubin worked for approximately 10 years at Federal Realty Investment Trust in leasing and property management.

Arnold Gordon has worked closely with Mr. Rubin since 1986 in developing Relm, Inc. together contributing to Relm's long standing reputation in the local shopping center industry. Prior to working with Mr. Rubin, Mr. Gordon was Vice President of Gordon's Furniture, an independently owned chain of retail furniture stores in Pittsburgh, PA. from 1970-1985.

In addition to its asset management and leasing functions, Relm, through an affiliate company, GroupCAM, also offers shopping center owners cleaning and a myriad of maintenance and repair services. GroupCAM provides regular cleaning service to over 100 properties and has the capability of handling routine maintenance and repair requests within 24 hours.

Through its long involvement in the management, maintenance, and repair of shopping centers, both Relm and GroupCAM have consistently built relationships with national, regional and local tenants and shopping center owners and managers as well as a wide variety of contractors. These relationships have enabled both Relm and GroupCAM to effectively solve everyday problems associated with the operation of a shopping center and its common areas.
